To enjoy the awesome sound track we had to eliminate the wine and clunk from the electric motors in the stepdown gearbox. To achieve this, we decided to use in-wheel direct drive electric motors with built in inverters.
Aesthetically the car looks stunning, the body panels have been replaced with a new sustainable material often used in Formula 1 racing cars. With the in wheel motors, hidden behind the carbon disc brakes with large painted callipers - as per the original supercar.
With four electric motors the acceleration is breath-taking, torque vectoring through the corners is like driving a Go-Kart on rails...
